Abstract
An electrochemical immuno sensor using 3D interdigitated array electrodes (3D comb electrodes) was designed and fabricated. An electrochemical reaction was enhanced by using the 3D comb electrodes as shown in Figure 1. In an previous study, the current signal at electrochemical measurements of PAP solution was increased 10 times by using 3D comb electrodes compared with 2D comb electrodes [2]. An efficient AFP enzyme immunoassay was constructed by using 3D comb electrodes at a small sample volume of droplet [3]. In order to apply this method for sequential immunoassay, micro flow cells including the comb electrodes ware fabricated and tested.
