Abstract
In this paper we deal with an improved adaptive control of a thread testing furnace. The original task was to control the stress of a poly-acril-nitril cable while the temperature of the furnace is changing. Because of the behavior of the cable is peculiar considering the temperature in some ranges the cable getting loose and in other ranges it is tightening. The original method was sufficient but sometimes it fell out from control region and its sensitivity was too high in some region of control characteristics. The new method modify the input clusters of the given fuzzy control and concentrating to the practical problems.
