Abstract :
The mathematical model of field emission from Si cathodes with ultrathin (diamond like) coating (DLC) was created. The emission current dependences from cathode parameters and a perspective of cathodes with DLC use for submillimeter range electromagnetic waves generation and amplification are studied.
