Abstract
Deadbeat control has the advantages of quick dynamic response and easy implementation. To compensate the load variation and other system uncertainties, the fuzzy algorithm is combined with the deadbeat control in this paper. Simulation and experimental results are presented to verify that the new method is very robust and has much quicker dynamic response than the PI current regulation for electric machine control. The example of an induction motor is discussed.
