Abstract
The control of traffic trunk road is one of important researches of intelligence transportation system. Based on the related knowledge of wavelet analysis and fuzzy neural network, the hierarchical fuzzy wavelet neural network control algorithm is proposed. The first layer is control level that cycle and green ratio of each direction are calculated based on fuzzy wavelet neural network forecasting model. The second layer is coordinated level. Fuzzy neural network control algorithm is used to correct the sampling period and offset by considering the result of control layer. The simulation result shows that the proposed method can reduce the vehicle stop times and delay time effectively.
