Abstract :
Pt-MOx/RGO composites (MOx = SnO2, TiO2) have been synthesized by a simple and fast non-aqueous sol-gel procedure assisted by microwave and characterized by SEM, TEM, XPS, XRD and FTIR spectroscopy. Screen-printed flexible sensors based on the composites synthesized have been applied for the amperometric detection of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). The electrochemical characteristics of various Pt-MOx/RGO-modified screen printed electrodes were investigated and discussed. The developed sensor allowed the detection of H2O2, with a linear response from 0.1 to 20 mM of H2O2 and a sensitivity of 40 μA mM-1 cm-2, exhibiting furthermore good reproducibility and stability.
