  • Abstract
    To ensure the estimation accuracy of software project schedule and improve the timely completion of the projects, a quantitative estimation guide of software project was studied combined with some actual project cases. A non-linear regression curve was obtained by the use of statistical analysis methods, on base of this a schedule estimation guide model was built and the use of the model was studied. By the significant test of this model, we found that the regression effect is not significant. That means the schedule is not only affected by the effort, but also by many other factors, this function can only be used to verify the reasonableness of the estimated results of the schedule, and could not be used to be a direct basis for schedule arrangement. The actual data shows that this model could provide help for the schedule estimation, and could improve the schedule estimation accuracy.
