Abstract
Diffraction screens are one of the methods which are applied to decrease the level of electromagnetic radiation. The screens should satisfy the whole complex of the radio engineering, mechanical, technological and operational requirements. The absence of universal radio-screen materials results in necessity of their careful selection for each specific case. The authors present a review of results of a study of the protective characteristics of all-metal, mesh and punched screens based on metal films.
