Abstract
This paper is focused on the problem of delay-dependent robust stability and H∞ control problems for discrete-time switched systems. By constructing a novel switched Lyapunov functional, an improved time-varying stability criterion is obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Based on this, robust stabilization and H∞ control problems are solved for discrete-time switched systems with time-varying state delays. Two examples are included to illustrate the effectiveness of the results.
