Abstract :
This paper presents an adaptive background image generation method in the complex environment. First, we use difference images between frames in video sequence to generate background image gradually. Second, the background image is updated automatically and quickly by using the individual and the whole change characteristic of the points in the scene. Experimental results show that our method has good adaptability, which can effectively overcome disadvantageous, such as the ambient light of the changes, camera shake, and stopover in the foreground image.
