Abstract
This paper discusses improving the effectiveness of velocity profile averaging of flows by simultaneous operation of multiple acoustic paths with wide radiation pattern transducers. In other words, interference averaging of velocity profile was investigated. There are problems connected with optimizing flowcell construction, interrogating signals and developing algorithms for processing received signals. Experiments were conducted with a specially constructed flowcell having a distribution of acoustic paths. Disk-shaped and ring-shaped piezoelements with wide radiation (receiving) pattern were used. Results of numerous experiments are presented
