Abstract
The influence of microwave EMFs (/spl lambda/=1.6 cm) on the ENN index (electronegative nucleus, %) of human buccal epithelium cell nuclei in vitro was investigated. The density of the radiated power flow to the surface of the object was 700 /spl mu/W/cm/sup 2/, and the exposure time was 20 min. A normalizing effect of microwaves on the ENN index was shown. For high initial values of the index irradiation lowered it, and for low initial values the opposite occurred.
