Abstract :
In this paper, the soft switching technique is applied to the KY converter to upgrade the efficiency in the neighborhood of the rated load and hence enhance its capability in industrial applications. The details of the soft switching for the KY converter are illustrated along with some simulation and experimental results to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.
