Abstract :
The performance of a multiple trellis coded modulation (MTCM) coded spread spectrum multiple access (SSMA) system in an additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel and a Rician fading channel is investigated in a multiuser environment. Our results indicate that in general, MTCM coded SSMA systems show superior performance compared to conventional trellis coded modulation (TCM) coded SSMA systems
