Abstract :
This paper describes an effective way to support productivity improvement activities by shared databases and customer and problem oriented software applications. The new software tooling and the supporting database allow management, engineers and operators easy and efficient access to all relevant production data and focus all parties to identical productivity goals. For a fast and common solution for several different frontend sites two competence teams were founded to design and implement tooling and data warehouse. Consisting of users, IT-specialists and productivity consultants they achieved accelerated design and implementation cycles and reduced cost
