  • Abstract
The R&D project of weapons is much more challenging than the one of general products. Therefore, in risk management it is a desirable issue that the project members can quickly and accurately acquire the information and knowledge of project risks - with appropriate knowledge representation techniques. This study aims to reinforce the discovery of risk management knowledge. Through the Delphi method, we have interviewed the experts to investigate the characteristics of the risk activity of R&D projects, to identify the critical knowledge, and finally build a knowledge map that is based on the mind mapping. The knowledge map we identified can in detail illustrate the knowledge distribution of risk management of weapon R&D - by ways of expansion of layers to present and inquire information, leading users to their searching knowledge. Such visual maps and knowledge representation can facilitate the sharing of knowledge inside and outside the organization.
