Abstract
This paper describes a simulation methodology developed specifically for the analysis of the RF interactions between several CDMA radio systems. It is based upon a statistical Monte Carlo approach. The performance of the systems considered can be evaluated as a function of various parameters, such as the geographical offset between base stations, the protection provided by the transmitter and receiver filters etc. The methodology has already been applied to the standardisation and regulatory processes for third generation wireless telecommunication systems
