Abstract
This paper presents some different concepts between GPS and repeating GPS (RGPS). It also proposes a scheme to fit the idea of partial GPS into the RGPS system. Some block diagrams of analog/digital repeater and central processor, as well as their parameters and performances are analyzed and discussed to allow a more detailed system design in the future. As a part of the required power consumption estimation, the paper also determines the transmission power requirement of the GPS repeater based on typical power sensitivity of GPS receivers
