Abstract :
This paper describes the setup of the modernized instrument transformer burden measurement system of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt. Its measuring ranges cover burden ranges up to several 100 VA of conventional current transformers (CT) and voltage transformers (VT) according to the relevant IEC and ANSI standards.
