Abstract :
This research concerns construction and evaluation of DC high voltage divider (thin film resistor type) as a secondary standard. The constructed divider uses the well-selected thin film resistors for the high voltage arm and low voltage arm with a total resistance of about 100 MΩ in order to have a low temperature coefficient. The nominal scale factor is 10 000:1. The analysis of the measurement results such as, voltage coefficient of scale factor, self-heating, time constant of self-heating are evaluated. The divider has a scale factor measurement uncertainty of 30×10-6 within a level of confidence 95 %.
