Abstract :
We propose a two-dimensional photonic crystal structure for the creation of quasi-Bessel beam. The working frequency is selected to be in the second band edge and the optimization of the rod position at the tip of the structure creates quasi-Bessel beam that is dramatically resistive to spatial spreading over a long propagation distance.
