Abstract :
With the increasing attention has been paid to environment protection by government, sewage treatment works is becoming more and more concerned. There are many equipments and complicated process in the project of sewage disposal. The paper discussed the application of PLC and network in the sewage treatment plant. Through the combination of the industrial automatic control technology, computer technology, network communications technology and configuration software, the author has designed and realized the distributed control system for sewage treatment. The process supervisory layer uses the fiber redundant industrial Ethernet network. The PLC control system and the supervisory system software design were also proposed in the paper. By improving the automation level of sewage treatment facilities and optimizing the process for sewage treatment, the goal to reduce the workload and improve the efficiency of sewage treatment can be reached.
