  • Abstract
Service-oriented technology plays an important role in facilitating software reusability and integration. In this paper, we present a service-oriented business process modeling method in which service-oriented philosophy and technique are combined with business process modeling discipline. We designed and implemented a BPMN-based business process meta-model, from which business process model could be generated, with highlighted web service characteristic and automatic translation & deployment features. Furthermore, we described the whole modeling process of our new method by illustrating it with a case study for easy understanding.
