Abstract :
Summarizes a project on the delivery of real-time traffic information in the PEMS database to wireless phones. The goals are to give users access to travel time estimates and predictions over a selected route, and congestion information for a particular highway segment. Users can set up and store their profiles on the PEMS database to customize their favorite list of routes using a web browser, and access the list on their wireless phones. Cookies are used to identify users´ service requests
