Abstract
US West´s experience with the demonstration and development of the integrated services digital network (ISDN) is reviewed. The author affirms that US West´s strategy for ISDN is to support standards development, stimulate technology, stimulate end users, involve suppliers, and test the market and US West´s ability to support it. US West´s vision for the future of ISDN is also described
