The author summarizes some of the key Pacific Bell lessons has learned in the areas of operational support and customer reactions during the past year of technology tests on the ISDN (integrated services digital network). Findings in the areas of engineering and marketing are reviewed. The company´s three-phase deployment approach is also discussed
