Abstract
The realization of e-business functions mainly rely on the exchange of information. In this paper, synthesized the distance of information-state transition (for short DIT) theory and evaluation theory, we firstly studied the DIT in the e-business Websites from the perspective of putting people first (for short PPF), put forward the measurement model of putting people first for e-business Websites based on DIT theory. Then took buying a book from Dangdang Web and Joyo Web as example, we comparatively analyzed the DIT from two perspectives-not putting people first and putting people first. Meanwhile, this study can provide the necessary academic basics and data support for further analysis of the information management on e-business Websites.
