Abstract
The functional orientations provide a guide for the construction of governmental informationalization in China. Based on the scope of organizational boundaries and the direction of information flow, the functional orientations of governmental informationalization in China are divided into four kinds of important types: e-procurement, the integration of governmental information resources, the open of public affair information and e-government. The content of four functional orientations and their operation mechanism are analyzed elaborately. And their managerial implications are proposed eventually.
