  • Abstract
    In this paper the design of piezoelectric resonant filter with tunable bandwidth is introduced. The distributed piezoelectric finite element model of resonant filter is proposed. By means of static analysis and modal analysis of piezoelectric finite element model based on ANSYS, the specific value of lumped model of piezoelectric resonator of a specific example is obtained. Based on this lumped model, the effect of tunable capacitor or tunable inductor in parallel with the piezoelectric resonator on bandwidth is discussed. The simulation of electrical circuits with distributed piezoelectric finite element model is conducted which verifies that only one piezoelectric resonator in parallel with a well chosen micro-machined tunable inductor can behave as a band-pass filter
