Abstract
This paper presents a performance of the UWB system in a time hopping binary pulse position ultra-wideband modulation scheme (TH BPPM-UWB) in the presence of an AWGN channel. This performance was illustrated using an analytical method based on the evaluation of the bit error probability versus signal to noise ratio(SNR). We have extend the method used in a one user environment to the multi-user environments and finally a comparison was made between both.
