Abstract :
This paper outlines some of the potential advantages of multiuser OFDM. An overview of several new techniques that improve system reliability and spectral efficiency are presented. These include adaptive modulation, adaptive frequency hopping, and multiple transmitter cells. A low bandwidth hardware implementation is also presented
