Abstract :
The use of gesture as a natural and intuitional interface serves as a motivating force for research in detection and interpretation of gestures. In particular, vision-based gesture detection is the need of human-computer intelligent interaction, which involves many multidisciplinary studies. A review on recent vision-based gesture detection approaches is given in this paper. Firstly, the characteristics and framework of dynamic gesture´s detection are introduced. Secondly, many gesture segmentation and tracking methods are summarized and analyzed. In the end, we conclude with some thoughts about future researches.
