Abstract
Chinese cities are now at a stage of rapid development and the problems of transportation, environment and land use are increasingly serious. Urban rapid rail transit is wholly a convenient, fast, effective, low-carbon, environment-friendly urban infrastructure system, which providing an effective way for the sustainable development of urban transit and land use. In this paper, the effect mechanism of urban rapid rail transit on land use is theoretically analyzed, and the model of rail transport construction on land value impacts is taken as the quantitative analysis method. Finally, a case study of Line NO.1 of Wuhan rapid rail transit is carried out. The analysis results confirmed the effect of urban rapid rail transit on real estate nearby.
