Abstract :
A real-time operating system (OS) has been developed which can be used for different switching systems and can work with existing information processing service programs. The authors described the functionality of this OS in connection with distributed resource management, interprocessor communication management and switching-system-oriented database management. The performance of this OS, evaluated from its application to commercial switching systems, seems to be satisfactory
