Abstract :
This paper proposes different approaches for the ecodesign of safety transformer based on optimization methods. The first approach consists in a life cycle analysis to highlight the stage of the product life that has the most considerable impact. An effective way to reduce the environmental impacts is to maximize the transformer efficiency. The second approach is to build a surrogate model of environmental impacts. This model is used jointly with economic and electromagnetic models in a multiobjective optimization to find the best trade-off between those criteria.
