Abstract :
A computer code called CCETS for the evaluation of telemetry system performance is presented. The program was developed over several years and represents a major aid in the development, design, and analysis of implantable telemetry systems which involve radio frequency powered coils for the establishment of bi-directional communication links with implantable tissue stimulators. The program includes three main modules: preprocessing, solution, and postprocessing. The program currently can run on any VAX computer and will soon be available for IBM or compatible microcomputers. It contains several desirable features which enable the user to reach efficiently an optimum design, verify it, and obtain telemetry performance before laboratory time and effort is spent. The program features are given with examples.<>
