Abstract :
Consideration is given to the problem of finding one compensator which simultaneously assigns all closed-loop poles of a family of single-input, single-output (SISO) plants to a prespecified admissible region. The family of plants {P(s,q):q ∈Q} may be uncountable, allowing for the possibility of a continuum of variations in plant parameters. A number of assumptions describing the set of allowable plants is given. The satisfaction of these assumptions guarantees the existence of a strictly stable proper stable compensator C(s) for simultaneous pole assignment
