Abstract :
In this paper we present different types of active filters designed using analog current-starved pseudo floating-gate (CSPFG) inverters. We show how we can design all types of filters (low pass, high pass, band pass and band reject) using only a combination of capacitors and CSPFG inverters, resulting in area-saving circuits suited for VLSI and ULSI circuit design. The corner frequencies of these filters can be tuned electronically using a few bias voltages. Typical applications are detection of high frequency components in sensory signals and in radio frequency signal processing.
