Evaluation on Safety Culture Based on Entropy

Safety culture is the core of internal environment for safety management system, and it is significant for the enterprise´s safety. Many scholars do much study on safety culture with all kinds of methods, such as Literature Review and Questionnaire Survey, and so on. Among them, the Questionnaire Survey is frequently used to research on the evaluation of safety culture. These researches promote vastly the improvement of safety culture. However, there exists some limitations in Questionaire Survey, that is to say, the data acquired through this way are relatively subjective, making the reliability of Evaluate results low, but evaluating the safety culture by entropy could enhance the reliability of Evaluate results as a result of its data-accident causes are relatively objective. Besides, a lot of enterprises are confused with the construction of safety culture. Accordingly, this paper applies the entropy to identify the evaluation weights of safety values and safety code of conduct so as to judge the level of safety culture and the causes making it low, and then the construction direction of safety culture could be confirmed.
