Abstract
A series of electricity blackouts happened worldwide in the recent years, the simulations indicated that the load models used could not present the reality. Therefore, load modeling is recognized to be very important and receiving more and more attention in China. This paper describes the load modeling situation in China. At first, the research work is reviewed, including load model structure, methodologies and identification. And then, the practices is presented. Finally, the tendencies is foreseen.
