Abstract
In this work parameters of plasma in channels of nanosecond pulsed breakdown in alkali-halide single crystals at 140 kV were investigated. It has been shown that multi-pulse mode causes formation of bead-like structures in crystals. Bunch of particles ejecting from the breakdown channel is a mixture of singly ionized ions, vapor, and microparticles. Two groups of ions having velocities of 100 and 30 km/s may be distinguished.
