Abstract :
Presented paper describes experimental works within the development of a new bioreactor which is specialized on hematopoietic stem cells. Preceding experiments with static suspension cultures and feeder layer-supported cultures were used to find the optimal media consistence and culture conditions. Perfused cultures with reproducible courses of experiments were proved to obtain higher expansion rates. The process parameters and special optical parameters were determined. The research on experimental setup is useful for further clinical applications
