  • Abstract
The radio communication tendency is to reach Software Radio applied to multistandard receiver. Non uniform sampling controlling Analog-to-Digital Converter in Homodyne multistandard receiver was previously proposed in our works. Non uniform sampling offers the advantage of alias-free sampling. This can lead to many advantages in the multistandard based non uniform sampling receiver such as, essentially, relaxing anti-aliasing filter and reducing power consumption of the analog-to-digital converter. In this paper, we present a pseudo-random signal sampler to control the analog-to-digital converter. This circuit consumes less than the difference between the non uniform sampling and the uniform over-sampling. A complete test setup with instrumentation and spectral analysis will be presented to illustrate alias-free processing measurement.
