Abstract :
In order to meet the increasing requirement of modularization and interconnection for the high voltage switchboard monitoring systems, this dissertation introduced an online monitoring system based on the embedded system. The system adopts DSP as its kernel data processing unit and an embedded microprocessor as its kernel system configuration and communication unit. The object-oriented method was also used in the software development. By integrating all these methods we made a monitoring system which is highly modularized and easy to communicate with the substation through LAN.
