Research on Carrying out Automobile Ferrying of Joint Land-and-Sea Transportation between South Korea and Shandong Province

It needs fast and convenient logistic service with the increasing development of trade volume between Shandong Province and South Korea. The recent state of container shipment between Shandong Province and South Korea was fully investigated. The future development the outlook of carrying out international automobile ferrying of joint land-and- sea transportation between Shandong Province and South Korea was predicted with a combinational forecast method. The logistics cost between the traditional transportation mode and automobile ferrying of joint land-and-sea transportation was analyzed and compared. Some feasible measures and suggestions were proposed. It can be concluded that automobile ferrying of joint land-and-sea transportation is contributive to run door-to- door logistics service and improve the occupation of funds with less intermediate process and shorter transportation cycle.
