Abstract
This paper described a adaptive fuzzy sliding-mode control method applied in the variable speed adjustable-pitch wind turbine, in order to solve the problems of non-linear, parameters time changing, anti-disturbance and time-lag, in which the pitch executor is driven by pitch control unit. The chattering brought by sliding mode switch control can be effective minimized by introducing adaptive in fuzzy sliding mode control, without sacrificing the absolute robustness of fuzzy sliding mode control. Simulation results verify that the proposed control scheme has strong robustness against the system parameter variations and load disturbance, and the chattering is obviously restrained. Simultaneously, the pitch system promises good static and dynamic performance.
