Abstract :
Based on researching on the interrelated technologies of MAS and virtual logistics enterprise alliance (VLEA), and combined with logistics activities features, the paper first analyzes the feasibility and advantages that MAS theory is applied into VLEA, and proposes a MAS-based VLEA system operation model. In the model, each kind of logistics enterprises is described as an agent. The exchange and cooperation among agents is through MAS. This model can address the request of the loose coupling and dynamic logistics features. The model better fulfils the development of the logistics and information technology.
