Abstract :
Wave reflections in the arterial system have been described in the frequency domain. We introduced a novel time-domain method and examined the influence of wave reflections on left ventricular outflow. Results show that ventricular ejection is significantly affected by the timing and magnitude of the reflected waves. This can be clearly visualized by the new approach
