Abstract :
Presents a novel method which provides an observer of the autonomic cardiac outflow. The originality of the method consists in the application of blind source separation to heart beat intervals (RR) and QT intervals. The reliability of the observer has been assessed on 6 subjects in experimental conditions known to elicit sympathetic or parasympathetic response
