A noninvasive technique for atrial fibrillation analysis is presented which, based on time-frequency analysis, produces trends of the atrial fibrillation (AF) frequency using the surface EGG. Fibrillation signals from several cases indicate that chronic atrial fibrillation has time-varying characteristics
